You really have no right to ask your neighbors to close their blinds (unless they're naked or having sex right in front of the window). That doesn't make them selfish, either. They have the right to keep their blinds open if they want, and so do you if you want. You can buy really cheap curtains from Ikea, and I suggest you do that.

You sound as if you are watching them. Don't you have drapes you can close over your blinds? Try to find a thrift shop, they usually sell really cheap drapes, etc. Don't you have a bathroom where you can have privacy for changing if needed?

do what i did, until you can afford new blinds or curtains, find the darkest sheet/blanket you can find and hang it up. you won't be able to get those people to do anything. you might as well give up on that part.

Mount an out door security light out side facing their direction. They will have trouble seeing the t v etc and will close their blinds.....
